      Fitness Manager

      The Fitness Manager is to work at least forty hours during the week. Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays, keeping in mind flexibility for the clients. The preferably hours are between 11pm-8pm. Your work schedule includes a 30 minute lunch break. Executing the Fitness Factory program in the facility and maintaining the highest standards is critical for this position. Directly reporting to the Director of Wellness on all matters of your location’s progress and your schedule.  Hiring and termination of personal trainers. Training new hires on company policies, procedures, and expectations. Updating company files on all employee records. Setting schedules with each member of your personal training team. We believe in setting goals and accountability. The director of wellness and you will set daily/monthly goals for you and your team. As a fitness manager, achieving goals requires you to supervise and motivate your training team on a daily basis. Part of your role will be to manage the success of the goals set for your training team members.  Working with the general manager to create a seamless process between the members’ experience at the front desk and a personal training program. Schedule new members’ fitness evaluations with a trainer from your team. This position’s skills requirements are as follows: excellent communication skills, attention to detail, multi tasking,basic computer skills with ABC FItness Data Trak experience a plus. Communicating to the General Manager,  Director of Wellness, Trainers as much as possible to reach company goals.  CPR/AED Certified. Proof of certification provided yearly to the General Manager. Administration of trainers Training/CPR/AED certifications and CE credits. Providing social media content to the general manager. Weekly status notes of the week’s sales are to be sent to the General Manager.  The fitness manager cannot take vacation time the same week as the general manager.

      Personal Trainer

      PERSONAL/FITNESS TRAINER JOB DESCRIPTION

      A Trainer for Fitness Factory is responsible for educating clients on their knowledge of workouts and nutrition while enforcing the gyms policies. Building a positive and trusting relationship with your clients. Your supervisor, the Fitness manager will be the one you report to and you will communicate with regularly. A top priority for our trainers is to explain each workout and ensure the proper use of each piece of equipment. Assessing a customers’ bodily strengths and weaknesses and creating customized workout plans. You will provide physical and mental guidance and monitor a member’s progress on a regular basis. You will ensure that members do not get injured while training. As a new member joins you will be assigned to complete a fitness evaluation by your fitness manager.       Part of our personal training program includes the use of software, currently we use Trainerize. Your duties will include working with the current software to enhance the member experience with personal training.

      Every month there are mandatory meetings with the fitness manager. These are mandatory and failure to attend will result in write up. Updating client notes in the billing software system on progress. Proper attire is required whenever on the floor please see uniform requirements. When not training you are to work the floor and engage with the members to promote personal training, tour new members, and support the front desk staff. Providing social media content to the fitness manager. Floor hours will be scheduled with the fitness manager and revised as needed.



      LEAD TRAINER JOB DESCRIPTION 

      The Lead Trainer is to work at least forty hours during the week. The work schedule will need to be flexible to meet the clients’ needs and will include weekend hours. Monday through Friday and alternating Saturdays are the typical days worked. The preferably hours are between 11am-8pm. Your work schedule includes a 30 minute lunch break. Your role includes executing the Fitness Factory program in the facility and maintaining the highest standards.

      In absence of a Fitness Manager you are to train new trainers and shadow current trainers. Lead trainers do not work the exact hours/schedule of a Fitness Manager and will work at least one off day of the Fitness Manager. On an add needed basis you are to sell personal training sessions when the Fitness Manager is not on the floor. Training new hires on company policies, procedures and expectations. Updating company files on all employee records with the fitness manager. Setting schedules with each member of your personal training team. Working with the fitness manager to create a seamless process between the members’ experience at the front desk and a personal training program. Schedule new members’ fitness evaluations with a trainer from your team if the fitness manager is not on the floor.       Front Desk Associate

      Meets, greets and checks in members and guests of Fitness Factory. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with billing inquiries and other membership issues. Enter member agreement information and update member account information using the Fitness Factory club management system. Make shakes at our juice bar. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness at the front desk and throughout the gym, inventory supplies for all areas of the gym, and providing assistance to the personal training team for signing up new members.

      Qualifications:

      • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
      • Assertive, enthusiastic and punctual
      • Strong communication skills are required
      • Some computer knowledge
      • Must have Adult, Child, Infant CPR and AED Certification
      • Three to five years customer service experience and previous experience in a health and fitness center preferred but not required

      General Manager

      We are a growing chain with locations in multiple states. The candidate we are looking for must have prior Fitness Management experience to be considered for this role. We need someone who is proficient in Office (Excel / Word) and basic computer skills. Experience with ABC Financial POS system is a PLUS!! Someone who is energetic, can tour and position the club for sales and great on the phone! Someone who is ready to work and learn the Club side of this Industry! The Manager will oversee the Front Desk as well as other tasks throughout the club involving fitness equipment, cleanliness, touring and membership sales, marketing and outreach, and just about anything else involved in the operation of this business. This position requires working 40+ hours/weeks but could demand more at times with compensation being a Salary, based on experience and skill set plus generous commission tied to the success of the location. Must have Excellent Customer Service. Must be willing to learn and grow! We are looking for a TRUE Team Player! The upside of this expanding / growing company is the room for upward mobility.

      Facility Maintenance

      Responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility and grounds. Primary Responsibilities: provide basic facility cleaning, machine cleaning and disinfecting, clean and mop floors, empty trash, dusting, vacuuming offices and common areas. Clean bathrooms and locker rooms. Clean the fitness center thoroughly including windows and mirrors. Perform equipment maintenance according to Fitness Factory’s Equipment Maintenance Procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the general manager.

      Qualifications:

      • Must be at least 18 years of age
      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • General cleaning knowledge and experience
      • Must pass a criminal background check

      Kids Club Attendant

      Provides monitoring service to children of members from ages 6 months to 12 years old. Reports to the General Manager. Ensures children are safe. Assist the front desk staff when there are no children to watch.

      Qualifications:

      • Must be at least 18 years of age
      • Must pass a criminal background check
      • Must have Adult, Child, Infant CPR and AED Certification
