Fitness Factory Somerset offers a robust schedule of group classes. If you’re the type of person that gets a better workout when you’re with a group, being motivated by an enthusiastic instructor, we have a class for you!

Class Descriptions:


BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories**. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.


BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories** in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast, and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.


Consists of a full body cardio workout with an innovative mixture of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and functional fitness exercises designed to maximize and challenge your personal fitness goals. The class alternates traditional group fitness with stations and Tabata training.


This class is designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture trough performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles and increase flexibility.

FMSS (Functional Movement, Strength, and Stretch)

FMSS incorporates mini circuits accompanied with stretching. This format utilizes low impact movement patterns to help strengthen the core and muscles to support healthy joints.


This class provides exercises that will strengthen all muscle groups, large and small. We will focus on stability and flexibility, gain muscle strength and endurance, and build coordination for every-day life. Perfect for Seniors!


HIIT or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.


A Pilates routine generally includes exercises that promote core strength and stability, muscle control and endurance, including exercises that stress proper posture and movement patterns and balanced flexibility and strength.

SoulBody Barre

SoulBody Barre is inspired by the principles of Pilates, the wisdom of yoga, the graceful elements of dance, and the body sculpting benefits of strength training. SoulBody uses cutting-edge choreography set to contemporary music by original artists. Combined with our signature SoulBody Flow, SoulBody creates a progressive BARRE workout appropriate for everyone!


SPIN is an indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within – sweat and burn to reach your ultimate goal!


Hatha yoga’s pace is slow and gentle; it is an ideal starting place for people who are new to yoga. All levels are welcome and alternate poses are suggested to accommodate all yogis. Hath yoga combines movements with breathing control, or pranayama. Students of Hatha yoga hold each post through several breaths before transitioning to the next pose or flow.


We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
